DC Studios has cast Superman and Supergirl, leaving us to wonder who's next. Lanterns appears to be taking shape, while Booster Gold is also said to be close to starting production (rumour has it the title character has secretly been cast).
While we strongly recommend taking the following with a pinch of salt given the source, Film Front claims to have learned who the three frontrunners are to play the Dcu's Booster Gold.
Bigger stories than this have been broken by smaller outlets in the past, and that's why we're not completely dismissing the story!
According to the site, Dylan Playfair, Fionn Whitehead, and Patrick Schwarzenegger are all screen-testing for the role of Booster. It's unclear which of them has potentially been cast or even whether any of them are still in the running.

In conversation with uInterview founder Erik Meers, Letterkenny actors Michelle Mylett and Dylan Playfair reflected on the Canadian show’s final season.
Letterkenny is focused on a rural community in Ontario, where residents are primarily descendants of Irish immigrants who sought refuge from the devastating Great Famine. Cliques exist throughout the community, from Hicks to Skids to Hockey Players. Nearly every episode begins with a textual introduction that sets the stage with, “There are 5000 people in Letterkenny. These are their problems.”
When asked for favorite on and off-screen moments, Mylett shared, “When we did the Mother Hutchins scene around the dining room table… it’s just so deeply unsettling and crass, and we were laughing so hard, and the crew was laughing, it was just one of those ones where you’re like, ‘Oh this might piss some people off but it’s definitely going to make an impact one way or another.

How are you now? It’s the end of an era for the cast of Letterkenny, a beloved Canadian sitcom focusing on the hicks, skids, hockey players, and degens of rural Ontario. Created by Jared Keeso and developed by Keeso and Jacob Tierney, Letterkenny might as well be required viewing for Canadian citizens. How’r ya now? The long-running Canadian comedy Letterkenny called it quits after 12 seasons, but before they closed the barn doors in December 2023, fans were given a musical parting gift. In the final season’s second episode, the Skids — with help from the Hicks and A.I. — release their own country music video for their engineered song, “Sun Darts.” According to mastermind Stewart (Tyler Johnston), every hit country single has two essential things: a unique hook/song title (“Sun Darts”), and “as much hick s**t as possible.” The result? An over-the-top smorgasbord of fun-loving country iconography. Everyone’s drinking a Puppers Golden Lager (the series’ own light beer). The “toughest guy in Letterkenny” Wayne (played by creator Jared Keeso) and Stewart arm wrestle while the good-looking women of Letterkenny cheer in spaghetti strap tank tops — alongside the Skids, like Roald (Evan Stern), of course. There’s wood chopping, Katy (Michelle Mylett...

There’s no tougher episode of television to produce than the series finale. Sure, the pilot sets the tone and the second season can suffer from that dreaded sophomore slump. But once you decide to end a show, there’s a lot of pressure. It is, after all, a creator’s final word on the subject.
Great series finales give the audience closure but include subtle nods from the past for its fanbase. They service their major characters but dole out a sense of finality, and they leave you feeling just a bit better for having spent time in that world. Given all that, wrapping Hulu’s Letterkenny after 12 seasons, a handful of specials, its own line of beer, and a live tour was no small feat. But it was necessary for creator and star Jared Keeso, who felt that he had mined all the stories these characters had to tell.

No one knew how many difficulties existed in the fictional town of Letterkenny when the show revolving around small-town hicks, hockey players and skids launched on Super Bowl Sunday 2016. As it turns out, there were enough “Letterkenny Problems” not only to change the lives of all those involved, but to transform the Canadian TV landscape.
When “Letterkenny” cracks open its final six-pack of episodes Dec. 25 on the Canadian streaming service Crave (and on Dec. 26 on Hulu), it ends an era that includes 74 episodes, seven specials, five live tours, branded clothing and booze, Canadian Screen Awards victories, and a spinoff, “Shoresy,” which wraps filming on its third season in Sudbury, Ont. this month.
The most impressive feat, however, may be in how a show with such specificity, from the vernacular to the sets, catapulted into mainstream pop culture and amassed loyal fanbases across Canada and the U.S.

The twelfth and final season of Letterkenny lands all at once on December 26, so you can binge the six-episode finale as you please.
Here’s the official synopsis for Letterkenny Season 12 courtesy of Hulu:
The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. Exclusive: The creator of Canadian smash Letterkenny has struck a multi-year content deal with streamer Crave and New Metric Media that Crave’s programing boss says is a first of its kind.
With Letterkenny’s 12th and final season dropping on Boxing Day, Jared Keeso will subsequently make 49 episodes of Letterkenny spin-offs including Shoresy and other potential shows across several years.
Unveiling the news to Deadline, Crave VP Content Development & Programming Justin Stockman said “this is probably the only deal that has ever been done like this in Canada.” The deal does not prevent Keeso from making shows for other platforms, eschewing the golden handcuffs approach taken by some of the major Hollywood players.
“There is not a lot of pre-committing in Canadian content so this is pretty unique but shows our belief in Jared and the show, and in other shows that don’t exist yet,” added Stockman. “This...

It’s an interesting month ahead on Hulu, as the streamer rolls out some of the series it’s been keeping in its back pocket for the holiday season.
On December 15, the first season of Such Brave Girls will arrive. The sitcom follows a dysfunctional family – and we mean dysfunctional! – that includes real-life sisters Kat Sadler and Lizzie Davidson. British comedian Sadler has previously written for The News Quiz, Hypothetical, and Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, but this is her first big TV project. “Everything we joke about in the show is from a place of lived experience,” she told Funny Women. “I wish I could say this is a heart-warming show about overcoming trauma, but that would be a lie. It’s about three toxic, damaged egomaniacs manipulating the world and each other for their own personal gain, vengeance and glory…just like in Little Women.” Sounds good!

No need to stare at the yule log all December — though the TV midseason is typically as bare as a tree in winter, this year's end-of-year lineup is surprisingly robust. Disney+'s conjured up a new take on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians books, while Peacock has brought Adrian Monk out of self-isolation for one Last Case.
Mysteries abound this month, as Mandy Moore meets Dr. Death in Season 2 of that anthology series and Paramount+ tries its hand at cult docuseries with Born in Synanon. There's plenty of lighter fare, too, thanks to the final season of Letterkenny and Netflix's latest snappy YA adaptation. And it all starts with a Cary Grant movie turned biodrama making its Stateside debut.

From “Cheers” to “Frasier,” Kelsey Grammer’s Frasier Crane was a mainstay of comedy TV for 20 years, from the ’80s to the early-aughts. Now, after an equal amount of time off the air, Grammer is back in the role for Paramount+’s “Frasier.”
The streaming series is a revival-meets-reboot that once again spins off Grammer’s character with a new cast of colorful characters. Some original “Frasier” stars will return to guest star. However, David Hyde Pierce won’t return as Niles and John Mahoney, who played their father Martin, passed away in 2018.
That means Frasier – along with “Frasier” fans – will be surrounded by new faces. With that in mind, here’s a handy guide to the new “Frasier” cast and characters, including where you might have the actors before.

Letterkenny which first hit TV screens in 2016, paints a hilarious picture of a Canadian small-town life filled with interesting characters and iconic catchphrases.
